Holi Festival: The government has announced a two-day holiday on March 13 and 14 in observance of Holi (March 13) and Dhulandi (March 14) for Hindu Sindhis celebrate the festival of colors with joy and tradition. The decision ensures public participation in cultural festivities.
Eid holidays for the Muslim community have been announced on March 30, March 31, and April 1. Public offices, schools, and businesses will remain closed, allowing people to celebrate with prayers, family gatherings, and traditional festivities. The holidays ensure a smooth and joyous Eid celebration nationwide.
May 1st will be observed as Labour Day, a tribute to workers’ dedication and contributions. Schools, offices, and businesses will remain closed, providing a day to acknowledge labor rights and appreciate the workforce’s role in national progress.
Youm-e-Takbeer, observed on May 28th, commemorates Pakistan’s successful nuclear tests in 1998, solidifying its defense capabilities. The day is celebrated with national pride, special ceremonies, and reflections on the country’s strength and resilience.

Ashura holidays will be observed on 5th July (Saturday) and 6th July (Sunday), 2025.
